Tasha has been in town for a day or so, and because of this fact I’ve been eating out like a madman on crack. She left about a half hour ago, and it’s probably good too… for the festering beef juice and onion assdeath has set in. I fear for the lives of all things around me, both animate and inanimate.
I got contacted by Ed on Thursday, and to my surprise he’s electing not to screw me on tuition this semester. He’s letting me teach/workout for free, and he offered me his instructor training course for free also. I don’t know if he had a stroke or what, but I’m going to run with it.
Yesterday I broke down and purchased the 3.5 edition D&D books, because Paul (our local comic book shop guy) was kind enough to extend the special offer that he was running so I could get a HELLA discount on those things. I was able to get all three books for $69.95. That’s cheaper than even Amazon can get. They have totally overhauled some of the mechanics, and fixed a few of my favorite classes to make them even more super-awesome.

For those of you that haven’t noticed yet, I’m going for Epic Level Slacker this week. I have actually been able to finish reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire while at my grad assistantship. This is a mark for all other so-called slacking grad students out there.
