I just got off the phone with my contact person at Cat, and she said that it seems that if the S&P division had filled their allocation then my interview was cancelled. This upset me for about 15 seconds, at which time an email landed in my Inbox that said the following:
Good morning Josh;
Please disregard the attached email you should have received yesterday. We
will be scheduling you for the in house interviews based on the dates you
provided.
I apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding related to the
attached.
Have a great week and I look forward to meeting you.
I called the woman back and since there was a misunderstanding, she’s going to pull my paperwork and contact this guy to make sure that everyone is on the same page. For a moment, it appears that I am golden. I am not getting hopes up, should I get an email to the contrary again. Thanks to all who hoped for the mixup, though.
