My Linux machine is trying to kill me.

For some reason, it decided that the network configuration that had remained largely untouched since it’s reconfiguration two days ago wasn’t good enough and that it didn’t want to connect to the network anymore. I just spent an hour trying to convince it that my network was right there, and finally it bent to my will.

Next time I think it is planning to recreate this situation, but send a burst of electricity through the cable at the moment that I plug it in, effectively ending my life. I hope not, I really want to get married in a few weeks. Damned technology.
