Worst. Joke. Ever.

Yeah. I found out tonight that everything that said (and insisted upon) was a joke and he was in on it. It wasn’t very funny, but he’s my bud and I will forgive him… this time. I think the ancient Japanese proverb goes: Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, side thrust kick you. Not sure, but it works for me. 🙂

Aside from that, the test went well tonight and everyone did great. There were a few more kari ranks given than I remember in recent history, but it was still in the normal range. I can’t believe the Solid Gold Balls of Hickman-san, putting it all out there for a rank test just a few days after losing a kidney. That’s Guts. I’ve really gotta hand it to that guy.
