Yesterday Tasha and I were instructed by my aunt to come and see a house she was showing. It was out in Marigold Estates, which is a relatively new subdivision in Pekin.
This house was SO cool. The landscaping on it was immaculate, the interior was brand new. The basement was EXACTLY what I have been looking for. The upstairs rooms were a little on the smallish side which would be fine for now but when the little Dalchers cometh we would quickly run out of space.
The price was a little on the high side for the square-footage, but this place was VERY well done. It pained us somewhat to pass it up, but we want to find a place that won’t totally strap us out and remain scalable for future family growth.
We have identified the aspects of this house that we liked, but also the aspects that we didn’t. The closer we get to eliminating the latter list, the closer we get to having a real house.
