Bad MythTV!

Tonight I had to tear down my MythTV rig in order to move my entertainment center for The Painting of the Front Room.

For future reference, since I just spent two hours fixing it:

  • Speakers == green port on sound card.
  • Pass through from Tuner card == pink port on sound card.

    • Also, if the channel gets stuck on Book TV and won’t change, resist all urges to shoot the TV with a shotgun and restart the mythbackend and then restart the system. The ringbuffer just got stuck because of a hard reboot.

    Everything is working fine now, in addition to Cartoon Network correctly being assigned to channel 75. That is all.
