Yesterday I didn’t get off work until 5:40 or so, and by the time I walked the dog I decided just to pick up the Saturday workout this week and hit it hard again the following week. I noticed on my way home from work that tapping the breaks when I’m on an incline seems to want to kill my car’s electrical system, usually it only flickers the lights and stutters the radio. Today, coming into the parking deck, it killed my car. Luckily, turning the key fixed the problem, but I need to get it looked at soon.
In other news last night, I got MythTV semi-workable again. It will hold in this state until I get the shows that I will miss backed up, and then I will download the latest and greatest Fedora Core that is somewhat stable and give it a crack.
I do know I probably seriously botched up something because my On Screen Displays are all flickery and stupid, but core functionality remains somewhat stable. At this point I’m not asking too many questions of it, just so long as it stays functional. I will worry about jazzing it up when I can do a clean install that works properly.
