Thanks, Dr. King!

Today was one of our seven paid holidays, and I spent it in true lazy geek fashion. and I went out to lunch and then proceeded to come back to my house and work on getting my emulators to work on my MythTV.

We got ROMs loading, however the sound rate and the gameplay is happening at about half speed. There are several people that claim that this is a side-effect of using an onboard TV-out. I will have to be satisfied with this level of progress until someone either fixes the problem or comes up with a solution.

I rounded out my afternoon with showing Fable to Matt. He seemed to like it, even though he was in food-coma mode by then. After he left I set out to give our dog a bath, which went markedly better than the last time. I used our shower since it had the sprayer head thing, which made rising the soap out MUCH easier.

I settled into some afternoon Fable and Tasha came home a little later on. We had a quick dinner and then it was time for Karate, which was chronicled below for those that are interested.

It’s back to the office tomorrow, with no three day weekends in immediate sight! 🙁
