Thursday night’s class marked the installation of Oedewaldt-san’s new “lets be a team” method of determining lesson plans, and I must say that it worked out very well. This time it was a little over-talked, but I’m sure that was just because it was the first time and we’ll speed up the process as time continues on. The idea is basically that we get together as a group beforehand and determine who wants to teach what and figure out who takes the honors, with Oedewaldt-san being the determining person in the case of confusion or lack of comittal.
We decided it would be good to work each belt-ranked group on something specific for their test, and
I heard only positive comments come out of this arrangement. I think if this trend continues and we keep open communications and collaborate, things will no longer be as stressful at the black belt end of the line.
As I mentioned previously, I had to leave after the first class in order to pick up a steel back door for my garage which was on sale at Menards. It now awaits installation in my garage, as soon as I get some assistance from my Dad I will have a secure back door/garage area.
