The first day of the rest of my…. zzzzzzzz….

I decided that with the start of Tasha’s new job and early hours, that I too would endeavor to rise earlier. I was out of bed by 6:30 this morning and actually sat down at my desk at 7:30 am. The day went quite quickly despite my early arrival, however due to some last minute support calls I still did not leave the office until 4:30. My goal was to leave directly after my meeting ended at 4:00.

It appears that my beautiful wife has done it again and found yet another way to press my nerd buttons… she successfully backed up her old machine using only the keyboard since I had relocated the mouse downstairs. To mark this display of nerddom and the start of her new position, we speced her out a very nice Dell Inspiron 600M. Thanks to my corporate discount we ended up picking it up at a VERY good price too… once she gets hers paid off I will get one for myself.

I decided to while away the rest of the evening watching some backlogged shows that my MythTV had gotten for me. Last night’s Family Guy was HILARIOUS. So was American Dad. Those shows just keep getting better and better. Since my morning started early, I’m going to go fall over early.
