Today was round two of the Great Remodeling Project. With the help of my good buddies
Also completed today was the hanging of the canopy and metal wall art. The canopy was quite easy to hang, however I had to remove and add nylon anchors to the cup hooks that we used to secure it to the ceiling. The wall art went in the first time with no problem.
Matt and Sarah also helped me disassemble and move my old bed to the garage for pickup by my Dad. Those guys are great, I seriously owe them one for all the help this weekend.
The only things I can concieve of doing before Tasha gets back on Wednesday is rewiring the light switch to use the X10 protocol so we can turn it off from bed. I may go out to Menards and scope out some new light fixtures to replace the old one, however I am not sure if I’m that ambitious for this project.
I really hope Tasha likes this stuff, because I’ve gotten myself all excited about it. I’m giving it about a 3:1 shot that she’s thrilled about it now. So the odds are improving.
