As previously mentioned, I am eager to listen to Paul McCartney’s new album Chaos and Creation in the Backyard.
For legal and retarded reasons, EMI has been a pretty staunch holdout in deploying their holdings onto iTunes, which has left me emptyhanded this time around.
I found a place on Pauls website where you can buy CDs, DVDs, and even Vinyl albums (damn, he is old) but they take £’s, and I only have $’s. Backwards Englishmen and their silver based economy.
Holy crap… I just got a 30 second earful of Jenny Wren from the new album here and I know I’m going to like this thing. I’m not paying him $1.72 x 13 in order to download it track by track though. I’ll go to Wal-Mart and snag it before I’ll pay 2x the cover price.
It’s amazing how even in these 30 second clips you can hear harkenings from the Beatles that I thought would never return. Paul really should try hard more often.
