I recently browsed your online music selection in search of Paul McCartney’s recent offering “Chaos and Creation in the Backyard”.
Finding it on your store for $10.88, I quickly headed out to my local store to pick up my copy. I was quite dismayed to find that the disc was marked at $14.88. I questioned the Customer Service Center about matching the price from Walmart.com, and they refused citing it was a different set of prices.
To be honest, this is yet another nail in the coffin of my customer experience with Wal-Mart. I should be able to price my item on your website and go to the store and get it for a similar price.
In this case, I went ahead and purchased the disk at the inflated price because I had already spent as much as buying online would’ve saved me in gas to get to the store.
I wanted to register my complaint here, and unless something is done to make this situation better I will endeavor to never set foot into your brick and mortar store or frequent your online store as long as there are other options available.
The good prices are the only factor that allowed me to continue giving Wal-Mart the benefit of the doubt, and now since that has apparently gone, so too has my patronage.
