I am most disappointed with the battery capacity of my iPod. I dug out the paperwork for the Best Buy warranty tonight and plan to make a trip to Peoria on Saturday to see how far the customer service rabbit hole goes.
My hope is that they just swap me out for another 20G iPod and don’t make me go through any of the hassle of shipping it back to Apple. I really wouldn’t mind having a nano, but I doubt their policies are so relaxed that I could swap out for a similarly priced item.
I won’t be too upset should they force me to ship the thing somewhere, however I would hope that it would be a “drop it off Monday and its back by Thursday” situation like when I got my Xbox’s DVD drive fixed.
I could’ve lived with the problem if it had been 9 or 10 hours out of 12, but 4.75 hours is just pathetic for only nine months of use.
