Today is a really big day…

Today marks the rollout of my newly redesigned CWI application. My good friends and should be pleased about this… we have changed the application and architecture so dramatically that they are now more “out” of the process than ever before.

Our final tests went well, the gains are going to be extensive. Even though we only started designing and developing this new system in May, it feels like its been forever coming. We’ve overcome many challenges to get this thing where we did, and I think that Matt and Anthony deserve a lot of credit for the success as well.

I appreciate all the help that Dave and Andrea have provided during the “play with the design” and “listen to Josh while he rambles incoherently about the new system” stages. Without the foundation and the advice that you guys provided, this thing wouldn’t be what it is. I’m just happy that I’m going to enable you guys to get away from this thing.

Maybe we’ll do the same thing for EM next year. 😉

I mean… since the old system hates me I had to do SOMETHING, didn’t I? Maybe this version will be content gnawing on my soul for 3-5 years. I will update with a post when everything is alive and kicking for the first time.
