Toasted Peanut Butter Sandwiches…

I am continually surprised how few people have heard of Toasted Peanut Butter sandwiches.

I grew up on these things, my parents used to make them for us all the time. Its just like toasted cheese… take two slices of bread, put butter on them and peanut butter between them. Then you grill it until the bread is toasted.

Its a delicious lunch, however a few words of warning: peanut butter becomes molton when heated. If it drips out (and it will) it will stick and immediately scald wherever it lands, so be sure to let them cool a bit before you try eating them.

If you’ve never heard of them, try them. They’re great and underappreciated. I recommend Peter Pan peanut butter, as it is a little sweeter than most. Its not fancy or anything, but boy are they tasty.
