Tonight was torture, plain and simple. It was the good kind of torture… the kind that makes my core muscles stronger.
It was described by my Dad as “Pilates from Hell” on Monday, but with some escalations that made it quite difficult. We did more pilates styled stuff (such as leg circles, leg lifts, and ugly things left unsaid) and then we worked on demo material again.
Luckily, Dad and I had gotten in most of our kata before class… I had done 15 Sochin prior to this unholy torture. After the first class, it was open swim time, where
By this time, my center was there but it was not responding to requests the way it should. It pretty much felt like I had a large numb void in my abdomen for most of the second class.
The demo is going to be fun and I’m really looking forward to it. There’s a boatload of stuff that will really be fun for the kids to watch and its always fun to see their reactions to some of the crazy stuff that we do.
