There is a widely known Linux application named wine that has been used to run some Windows applications on Linux. It appears that wine can now be used to run iTunes in some capacity.
This would eliminate the need for some backstreet workaround. I’ve already installed wine, if my wireless keyboard batteries weren’t out of juice I would try this tonight. Since they are, I’m going to bed.
We’ll see how this unfolds over the next few days. Hopefully I won’t screw anything up too badly. 🙂
