I was flying high tonight from the good news of my promotion at work, so I decided to celebrate the best way possible: with some Sochin. I knocked out 10 before class started.
They caught up to me quickly. The first class was very basic, and my thighs were cramping the whole workout long. The second class was the 1st kyu exam, combinations, and some partner drills revolving around roundhouse kick. My legs were pretty blown out by that point, but I had a few decent feeling techniques.
All in all, the workout really wasn’t my best. I only got 10 Sochin done, the first class felt pretty darn crappy, and the only semi-decent part was the second class. I do like the notion of celebratory Sochin though. 🙂
