It’s like a woot, only its not…

Late last night, I got a message from my good buddy . She wanted me to check out this system that she was going to buy, for some reason it was marked down. Way down.

So she sent me this link to a beaut of a system. “What discount?”, you may ask, “That system costs $2000!” That’s right. It does. Now.

But for around an hour and a half last night, that staggering price tag was lowered to a measly $128. That’s right. One Two Eight.

So I got one. So did , my parents, my aunt, and a buddy of mine from college. Around 11:45 pm the price went to its current place.

My Dad heard from a coworker that Tiger is known to do this from time to time, however he’s never heard of anything quite this crazy. Dad’s coworker said that he’s never known Tiger to not honor a posted price, so here’s to hoping this one doesn’t fall flat.

Its been one business day and we’ve not had any communication to indicate that our order is anywhere but placed. I got an order confirmation and that confirmation shows up on the website, however the Order History/Track Order feature gives an error when I try to access it. The site says that it may take up to 24 hours to get order history activated, but once that is up there I will feel a lot better about this. I have a hard time believing that they’re going to take a $1800 bath on this thing. We’ll see in a few days if I get a ship notice… cross your fingers for us! 🙂
