Not much to report tonight. My cousin John is heading out with his family to a trip to Las Vegas, I’m sure this is going to spawn a litany of stories that will be at the very least humorous. His friend hooked me up with a few new bottles of sake to try and a partial bottle (half emptied by my cousin) of the latest stuff that I really liked. So I’m back up to 3/4 of a bottle of that should anyone happen by that is interested.
When answering the phone tonight, it skirted out of my hands and clattered around in the sink. It didn’t get soaked, but it did find a few pools of remaining water and I got a few drops into the sync port at the bottom of the phone. Interestingly, it made the phone believe it was hooked up to a car kit until it dried out and my phone refused to transmit or receive audio. Eventually my lovely wife realized where it was wet and we were able to restore it to working order once again.
My aunt goes in for brain surgery tomorrow at 8 am. Positive energy directed in her general vicinity would be appreciated. Here’s to hoping everything goes as smoothly as it did last time.
Tasha is heading out on business for the next evening. It stinks that she has to be away. 😛
The Beatles Anthologies are fantastic. My cousin and I broke them out again for the first time in awhile. I love the raw cuts that are made available through those albums, they really show the artistic process and the human side of the Fab Four. Mother Nature’s Son is a great song.
