The last of the photo blogs for tonight is the aforementioned pic of Cubs’ Hall of Famer, Ryne Sandberg. Ryno is operating in his capacity as Peoria Chiefs manager and third base coach.
He wasn’t really good about looking my way when I had my camera on him, but if you squint really hard on this grainy pic you can make out his #23 on his special edition Irish Peoria Chiefs uniform.
It was really fun to get to see him in person, even if the most lively thing he did was argue with the umpire for awhile about a botched call.
