On vacation…

For those of you that don’t know, this week I took a much needed vacation.

That doesn’t mean, however, that I’ve just done nothing. In fact, I’ve been fairly busy all week long doing various activities… Monday I decided that I needed another handgun so I purchased a Springfield Armory PX9154. It’s a really nice .45 and will be a lot of fun to shoot.

On Tuesday, I went to my good buddy ‘s going away lunch. I got to see a former coworker that I’ve not seen for awhile and have a decent lunch with some friends. We’re going to miss around the office though, but he’s on to greener pastures.

Today I spent a lazy Fourth of July in with the wife, we sat around and played video games all morning and then visited my family this evening. Due to a general lack of interest and desire to not be stuck in traffic for a long time tonight we elected to not go to the stadium for fireworks this year.

Tomorrow it’s lunch with two of my favorite people, and . I’m sure we’ll get at least one “oh my” out of Miss . At least we’ll try to.

I’m not really sure what the rest of this week holds, but hopefully it will provide a little more relaxation and a little less being busy, but chances are good that will not happen.
