I know I’m probably going to be in trouble for posting this, but I couldn’t help it. This is the most fun picture of my Dad that I’ve ever seen!

We went to the Jelly Belly Plant in Wisconsin yesterday to a Longaberger basket event, where Mom, Dad, and Tasha all wove their own baskets. I took pictures. There was lots of Longaberger shopping and a pretty disappointing factory tour which approximated watching an episode of Unwrapped while a teenager narrates to you in a nearly inaudible speech from wrote memory.

It was a long day, we ended up at an outlet mall where Tasha and I bought most of Eddie Bauer. We had to watch the painfully average Robin Williams movie “License to Wed” on the bus ride home, but the day was a great success.

I had a much better time than I expected and as you can tell Dad had fun too. I may post a few more pictures from the basket weaving soon, we’ll see how it goes. If you want a preview, you can check out my Flickr stream by clicking on the photo above.
