Tonight all of Central Illinois is poised to accept the full brunt of an ice storm, so most of our evening has been spent hunkering down waiting for the garbage weather to descend upon us. Well, I take that back… Tasha spent a fair portion of this evening finishing up some Christmas shopping. With the exception of me needing to buy one or two presents for Tasha, we are DONE SHOPPING!
We spent the rest of the evening getting the Christmas tree set up. Our living room is made cozy by the addition of a modestly sized evergreen, guarded dutifully by the traditional Christmas Tree Fence. Pretty soon we’ll start with the tree decorating and the present wrapping, which is my favorite part of the holiday season.

That’s right, you heard me right… I’m going to be coding again for the first of many “just one last times” that accompany this hellbeast of an application. But that’s ok, its something I’ve never gotten a chance to do before and it will at least be a little interesting on the way out.
