The Best Part…

Here I sit, at the best part of our annual shutdown… the furthest distance away from work possible. For the next 11 days, I will be doing whatever the hell I want. That’s a pretty great feeling!

I discovered a loose light socket in our kitchen last night and I have no idea how to fix it… I should probably call someone to take care of it. I doubt that’ll get done over the next week though. I have another project to see if I can get my garbage disposal running again. I know what needs to get done, but I’ll have to go to Menards to get the tool I need to see if I can free up the rotor. Don’t worry, I’m not sticking my fingers in the blades, I don’t have awesome Heroes-esque healing powers!

I had a great lunch today with and Scarab, where much pre-holidays merriment was had. Its going to be a great, much needed break this year! 🙂
