Feeling a little better, now with an additional hobby…

Last night we spent the evening playing Rock Band, our second exposure to the “DDR meets rock music” genre of video games. The first was playing Guitar Hero II with , and the rest of the crew at a New Years party.

Needless to say, we spent several hours looking for Guitar Hero III for the Wii and we were lucky enough to stumble upon three of them at our local Toys ‘R Us! Tasha spent the morning playing through the game on Easy mode, and she made it through by this evening.

I went through and attempted to clean up the one song from each level that she didn’t do, and let me tell ya… Slayer on Level 8 is INSANE. It remains the only song on Easy that we don’t have completed. Its going to take a long time to get it all the way unlocked, and we plan on getting the second controller when it is released at the end of this month for cooperative play so we can rock out together.

I’m very sorry I’m late to joining in on games like these, because they are really fun and make a great pasttime! And I’m feeling a little better too, so if this holds I’m ready for a good week!!
