In the constant pursuit of something to make for dinner, I decided that some kosher hot dogs sounded like a great idea. Since I was out walking around downtown Peoria for part of the afternoon on business, I was not afraid of the outdoor weather tonight and decided to engage in some rare winter grilling.
A half-hour later, some dogs were ready and a good dinner was had by all. Except for Teddy, there wasn’t any left over for him.
Not much else exciting to report… I had a pretty busy day at the office but actually got some results for a change, so I’m feeling pretty good about the rest of the week. Let’s hope that I’m not tempting fate by saying that. 🙂
This is the first day this year that I got up and going a little late, but I think a four workday run really isn’t that bad considering that getting to work early is a new habit that I’m trying to establish. Please notice: this is not one of my goals this year, just something else minor that I’m working on.
There have been several people that have asked me why I have so many goals at this point in my life, and I saw a good quote today from Michelangelo (who was a great man before he was turned into a Ninja Turtle):
“The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.”
I wish I could print this out on the back of my business cards.
