I got up early to head to work today, just to find out that my 8 am meeting was canceled. That still put me to work ahead of schedule, so I had a burst of productivity in the morning followed by a slow slide into the weekend. I left early, got chiropracted, and then went to Steak and Shake with Tasha.
Last weekend, I went to bed early and woke up early to get into karate and I’m going to try that formula again tonight to see how it goes. It seemed to work out pretty well last weekend, so we’ll give it another shot.
This week I did a pretty decent job of getting to work early, making it in at or before 8:15 am three out of the four days that I worked. I feel like I’m more productive, rushed less, and happier (because I’m done “earlier”) so I think this is a trend I’m going to try to continue.
