I got my lawn mowed after an extra long day at work, fixed the handle on my sliding glass door, and replaced a light switch in my basement.
The last task was probably the most annoying one… the switch I had to change was in the corner of my basement right next to the wall. The electrical wire had no slack in it, and the switch I had selected had screws that weren’t quite long enough to accomodate the wire without a bunch of effort. It was pretty much a knucklebuster, but eventually I got it fixed up and I’m happy to report that now my basement lights actually turn off properly!
I’ve got a few more “around the house” things I’ve been wanting to get done, with any luck it will be smooth sailing for the rest of the tasks!
