I am having some trouble with the Adobe Flash player taking up an unexpected amount of CPU (around 85-95%!) and I find out that it is due to the Linux version of the Flash player being truly awful. Apparently there is an open source Flash player called gnash that performs much better, however like many open source projects I can’t find the app in an easily digestible form.
Eventually I will figure it out, but it is more than a tad annoying. Problems like this make me understand why people continually go back to Windows.
I’m going to be at karate on Thursday if it kills me!
