Never could get the hang of Thursdays…

Today was pretty much a crud fest.  I had a particularly thorny issue involving math at work today which plagued me for most of the day, and right as I was making progress toward finishing the task I had an urgent issue drop in my lap at 4:30 pm.  That’s ok though, I put in a couple hours extra today in order to eliminate the roadblock for the team.

I had every intention of coming home and watching the Town Hall for Hope, but lo and behold… our Fox Business channel was a casualty of downgrading our cable service last month.  I could’ve gone to a local church to take part in the live event, but that was more social interaction than I wanted after a long day at the office.  I heard it was great, my cousin texted me to tell me how it was.  Hopefully a version will show up on YouTube before long and I’ll be able to watch it for myself.

Since everything else was going so peachy keen today, I decided to click the “Upgrade to 9.04” button on my Eee PC.  We’ll see if Linux is improving in operating system upgrades.  Tomorrow’s Friday though, there’s something to look forward to!
