Dinner on Goofy Ridge…

I went down to my father-in-law’s place in Goofy Ridge, IL tonight.  For the unindoctrinated, Goofy Ridge is a tiny spec that is sometimes on the map, has dirt roads, and is generally populated with trailers.

Tonight, my father-in-law opted to cook something he knew I would like, grilling out burgers, Italian sausage, and brats.  It was pretty tolerable this time, we sat outside on a giant wood porch he’s been constantly adding to and improving for the last several years and it was a pretty nice night.

I made it through my workday today, only one more left this week!
