Rockin’ out!

My buddy Paul has acquired a Fender SuperChamp XD tube amp to go along with his Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus, and he invited me over to witness its virgin run.  That amp is very sweet, and my strat sounds great on it!  Paul took me through a little tutorial on barre chords, showing me bits of God Save The Queen by the Sex Pistols.  It was a fun night, a much needed relaxer after a truly awful week at the office.

I’m going to have to start saving up for one of those amps, it sounded magnitudes better than my little Crate amp.  With any luck I’ll spend the rest of the weekend working on the new tunes and techniques that Paul showed me.  Good times!
