I got up early today, shortly after Tasha and her girlfriends left to go to the Renaissance Fair. I hauled my two car loads of cans to King Sooper’s to get my $7 for recycling them, went to the bank to get my monthly budget sorted out, went to Dave & Buster’s for lunch with a coworker and his kids, went to Borders to get a book, and rounded things out by getting a spice grinder and requisite ingredients for my homebrew KFC experiment tomorrow.
While at Dave & Buster’s, I got the jackpot for Skeeball, depositing 138 tickets into the bucket for Paul’s kids to get toys with. Audrey, Paul’s daughter, blew me away by hitting the jackpot on one of those “knock coins over the ledge” games and netting a whopping 430 tickets in one play. It was a fun time, I hadn’t been in an arcade for a long time.
I spent the rest of the afternoon reading a book and getting ready for my D&D session tonight. It’s been a fun day so far… hopefully the rest of the weekend follows suit!
