Last night’s Halloween party was great! My coworker dressed in a lifesize Jack Skellington costume from Twas the Nightmare Before Christmas, complete with drywall stilts to make him the appropriate height. He wasn’t kidding when he said that he went all-out for Halloween! There was probably 30 or so people there, all in costume. A few people figured out our costumes, but the majority just asked me if I was ready for a shower. :) Paul and Kara had great costumes too, going as Scotty and Uhura from Star Trek.
In the news today, my good friend Debra from Reflecting is taking part in NaNoWriMo where she will write a novel in November. I’m really looking forward to seeing what she does… this is something that I have thought about doing for awhile now, but I don’t do good enough at writing a meaningful blog post every day let alone enough words per day to write a book in a month. Tasha and I both wish her Good Luck on this endeavor!!
In other news, I will be heading in to the office today to get some end-of-iteration work done that Paul and I didn’t have time to cram in at the end of last week. It should be fun coding stuff, so I’m looking forward to spending a few constructive hours now so I can borrow a few at the end of next week when the weather continues to be nice. Time to go get a shower and get to the office!
