I knew this date looked familiar…

As I was getting things shut down for bed, I looked at the date and wondered aloud why it sounds familiar.

Then I came to it… 13 years ago today, I got my Shodan.  Thinking back, I can almost feel the frozen tile of that Elk’s Lodge under my feet.  If my memory serves me correctly, that makes it 13 years ago today that Sensei Hartman got his Yondan and Sensei Brewer got his Godan.  I can still remember the feeling of achieving that goal just like it was yesterday.

Time flies when you’re having fun!  That means I’m going to have to find a way to train today…
