The Snow Day That Never Was

They were calling for 5-10″ of snow in Denver today, and we got it… eventually.  The roads remained fairly clear throughout all of this, thanks mostly to warm ground from 60 degree weather all this week.  Even so, it was snowing pretty hard and most of the office opted to duck out a bit early due to a fortunate break in the snowfall.

I think I’ve got about 6″ of snow in my yard tonight, possibly a bit more in some places.  Teddy’s loving it, he wants to go outside every 20 minutes or so to roll around in the snowdrifts.

Tomorrow is my birthday party where my friends are going to descend on our house and help me ring in my 30’s.  It should be a pretty fantastic time.  That’s all for now!
