Recycling Day Off!

I wanted to begin cleaning out our overflowing garage on my long weekend, and today I did just that.  I took five carloads of recyclable materials from our garage (mostly cardboard boxes and aluminum cans) over to our community recycling dumpsters.  You just chuck anything that is recyclable in there and they sort it out, and its only five minutes from my house so it was very convenient!

Now my workbench is essentially cleaned off and ready for a summer of projects and fun!  I want to reorganize some of the plastic storage containers, but I didn’t quite get around to that today.  I did get to one of my other chores, and cleaned the upstairs bathroom though.  I don’t do it often enough and it gets all gross.  Tasha and I have an agreement: I get the “gross” jobs like cleaning the bathrooms and the rabbits, and she gets the dishes and kitchen duties.  It works pretty well.

Tomorrow is Day Off #2, and I intend on taking it easy and spending some more time with my guitar.
