The Long Week…

I’m taking part in a testing cycle at work, and it’s made this week feel like it Friday since Tuesday.  Since Tasha has D&D Encounters tonight, I was home alone.  I decided to record a short video for my cousin to see my new guitar.  It didn’t turn out all that great, the amp seems to overwhelm the audio quite a bit but it’s not bad for a first try.

I had to edit out about two minutes of me attempting the blues scales before I got it right, luckily I got it (fairly) right three times in a row so there wasn’t fancy editing needed.

I might redo it over the weekend and mess with the audio volume until you can hear the differences, it seems like all of the pickup settings were distorted by the camera to sound fairly the same when in reality they do not.  It was a fun little excursion, I’ve not done much YouTube in the past.  That might have to change.
