Building my ukulele: Days 5-6 (FINISHED!)…

The ukulele is DONE!  I spent the last few days on the final coat of lacquer finish, installing the hardware, and sanding/filing the nut and bridge to adjust the string height.  The last thing to happen was applying the sound hole decal, I’ve never applied a water-based decal in my entire life correctly until now and I think it turned out great!  Now I just need to learn how to play something.

Thanks to Dad for getting me the kit, it was great fun to put together… I think I’m going to try an acoustic guitar kit next!
