The baby at 13 weeks!

Here’s our kid at 13 weeks.  The doctor opted to do a sonogram because the machine was there and “it’s more fun this way”… I’m glad she did.  The baby’s heart rate was 154 bpm, which is perfectly fine.  In addition, it was very active today, moving it’s arms, legs, and head.  It even appeared to spin around once .  It was really cool and reassuring to see the baby moving on camera, and plus we got this awesome picture to blog about!  All of Tasha’s vitals came back fine too, even her thyroid.

For those of you not experienced at reading these things, the baby’s head is to the right in this picture.

Our next appointment is on 10/21, where we will hopefully find out the sex of the baby.  That’ll be a fun day!
