Tonight Tasha and I ventured out to Target to put together our baby registry (here it is, Mom, so you don’t have to finish reading the rest of this post).
I haven’t gotten to use a price gun since we got married (and then only briefly) but they sure have come a long way! This one had a little hook-in touchscreen deal that let you adjust the quantity and see what you registered for. Tasha thought it was funny how much I enjoyed shooting products with the laser. I wanted to register for one single item that was clearly not something a baby would use just as a goof (like Baby’s First Lighter Fluid) but Tasha vetoed it. The cashier thought it was funny that we registered for iTunes gift cards for the baby, but I want our kid to be exposed to a lot of music (things like Mozart for kids and whatnot) and that is our preferred delivery method. Therefore, not weird. 🙂
In the end we found a bunch of really cute things for the baby (many of which we need!) and it was a fun time. I wonder if we have to make registries at any other stores so I can use a pricing gun again…
