I suck at driving a manual…

Because our carseat fits into Tasha’s car better, I am embarking on a quest to learn how to drive her car which is a manual.  I am fine at stopping (an important skill) and I can switch between gears once I’m going… but getting started from a stop is not a skill that I currently possess.  It’s fun learning… I was laughing my ass off every time I got to kill the engine after a stop sign.  I got great looks from some guys that were walking their dogs, but Tasha is a very patient teacher and I’m going to keep working on it tomorrow.

I have been consistently embarrassed about not knowing how to do this, and I’m happy to learn.  Hopefully I’ll figure it out well enough before the baby arrives to get us to and from the hospital.
