The managers are away at a convention this week, so it was a fairly quiet day which led to pretty decent productivity. After work, I wanted to spend some time working on my Dad’s ukulele project but when I got home it became clear I had to clean off my workspace again. I took recycling to the dumpsters and got my workbenches cleared and swept off, relocating my acoustic tonewood to my secondary workbench so I could build Dad’s ukulele on the main workbench.
I think everything is cleared off, and providing the weather cooperates I might be able to get some work done on it this week. Assuming, of course, that the baby hasn’t made an appearance yet. I’m getting the itch to get going on a guitar project, buoyed by one of my coworkers who continues to bring links to Les Paul and solidbody electric guitar kits to my desk. Not helping.
More soon!
