Ebay deals…

I’ve been shopping around for guitar-building tools on Ebay, and after missing out on a few decent deals I finally got a decent one.  Someone had listed a small vintage Stanley block plane for $0.01.  Shipping was $17.36 from Canada, but I won the plane for the asking price.  I might have to buy a replacement blade, but a similar plane I was going to buy was $119 on Amazon so I consider it a great deal.

I also got an Ebay Bucks promotion… if I use IE9 to make my orders I get an extra 8% bonus Ebay Bucks and a one-time $5 bonus.  If you don’t know what Ebay Bucks are, they’re really cool… if you sign up for it you earn 2% of each purchase you make on Ebay, and once a quarter they cut you a coupon code for that amount.  If you buy from Ebay at all, it’s not a bad deal and it’s free.  That’s all for now!
