w00t!

I just translated my old Genetic Art crossover code from my old program to my new one. It was pretty hard since it was mostly a slapdash effort the first time. I haven’t done too much testing yet, but the fact that it isn’t showing any build errors at this point is a pretty good thing.

I’m going to take some time and think about how I implement this, since I’m sure there has to be an easier way then the old way that I did it. This is the last big piece of functionality before I start writing the “icing on the cake” part of this software, so I’m pretty excited. I’m pretty sure this software is going to be mostly complete by New Years, at which time I will start on the site design for GeneticArt.info. I’ll be taking suggestions from the peanut gallery on design ideas.
