This weekend hasn’t felt like much of a weekend.
It started with some light shopping in Peoria, where I picked up a respirator for a few of my prop projects. Tasha got some clothes exchanged, we ate at Schlotsky’s, and went to Barnes and Noble. So far, it was a pretty fun relaxing time.
Then Saturday hit. After karate, my Dad and I were going to meet my grandparents at my house to install our back door. We only had a two hour window to do this in, since I was supposed to meet
After my shower, we met
After we departed from Kraft’s gathering, I had to go to the Loudest of All Parties for my cousin’s one year old daughter. Luckily, my Big Dumb cousin was there and we hung out as far away from the Mongol hordes of one year old friends that had come to celebrate. I left the party around 4:30 with a splitting headache.
I came home to find Tasha in bed; she had come home from work with a migrane. So I played on the computer for a bit before D&D started.
D&D went pretty well, save for some upset feelings that were caused by us continuing to unintentionally (on my part) harass
That rolled into today, which kicked off the Father’s Day Extravaganza. I got to sleep in finally (w00t!) before Tasha’s mom showed up to help her hem pants for her new job that starts tomorrow. I did not know that Tasha’s mom was coming with a truck bed full of Tasha’s old stuff, which I was assigned to haul to the shed. I hate moving things more than almost anything else.
After making up a South Beach Meatloaf and some brownies for our parties, we spent the remainder of today hanging around with my family. It was a good time, but there was a major part of me that wanted to be camped out in front of the TV vegging out. Maybe I’ll get some of that next weekend, but I doubt it.
