Since my Dad has gotten his new car, he wanted some of my stuff out of his garage. In between my freshman and sophomore year, I got a loft bed in trade for some tutoring assistance that I provided. The guy I got it from was moving off campus and didn’t have anywhere for it, so I took it.
Shortly after I got the loft, I decided it would be easier to just move a futon that I wouldn’t need to break down and build up ever year. Since then, it has been sitting my parents garage.
So I called up my Grandpa, who is very skilled in the art of woodcraft. We delivered the lumber to him, and I asked if he could make me a workbench out of it. He said he could.
Now, I only expected four legs and a surface. Apparently, there are drawers on this thing and its so big that he needs to break it down into two parts. That means I have to rearrange my own garage so I can set up this workbench when it is ready.
I haven’t seen the bench yet but I’m sure its going to be awesome; I will post some pics when its over here and done. I’m pretty excited, I’ve wanted put together my own shop for awhile.
