It appears that my beloved CNN.com has undergone a bit of a reformatting. They appear to have balanced their content picture with an advertisement on the other side, and it makes my brain go crazy trying to decide where to look for information.
This is probably by design, so I get confused and accidentally click on their ad for a BMW, Cialis, or whatever else it is that they’re getting click-through revenue on.
I think they’re going for a little more minimalist of a style, but the orientation and footprint of their tabbed content makes me think that there are still images loading on the page for some reason.
Since I know my blog has such a wide, diverse audience, allow me to say this: a website redesign should make me say “ahhh…” and not “AAAAAH!”
